Who we are
This website is run by Digital Hark, a growth marketing company serving US home-service contractors. Questions about privacy can be sent to growth@digitalhark.agency or through our contact form.
Information you send us through forms
When you send the Growth Diagnosis or contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, email, a phone, WhatsApp or Telegram number and which app you prefer (optional), company, website, state, monthly ad budget range and the problem you describe. If you give us a WhatsApp or Telegram number, we may message you there about your request. We get a notification about your request through Telegram so we can reply quickly. We also record the page you came from and campaign tags in the link (UTM tags), so we know which marketing brought you. We use this only to reply to you, prepare your diagnosis and talk with you about our services. We do not sell it.
Analytics and advertising tools
We use Google Tag Manager to load the tools below. Google Tag Manager itself only loads the other tools. They load when you open a page, unless you have opted out (see below). A small notice at the bottom of the page tells you about them the first time you visit. If your browser has JavaScript turned off, none of these tools load.
- Google Analytics (Google): which pages you visit, how long you stay, how you found us (for example a search or an ad), your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city or region). We use it to see which pages and ads help visitors.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft): how you use a page, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, shown to us as heatmaps and session replays. We use it to find pages that are hard to use. We set Clarity to hide what you type into form fields.
- Meta Pixel (Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram): which pages you visit and whether you send a form, linked to your browser. We use it to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and to show our ads to people who visited the site.
- Google and Meta may also use this data for advertising: to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who visited the site. You can opt out of this at any time (see below).
Google, Microsoft and Meta also handle this data under their own privacy policies: Google, Microsoft and Meta.
Our own tracking server
Some of the data above goes first to our own tracking server (data.digitalhark.agency), which we run on our web host, before it is passed to Google and Meta. This server receives your IP address, browser and device details, the pages you visit, and actions such as sending a form. When you send a form, we may also send Meta a hashed copy of your email and phone number. Hashing turns them into a one-way code, so Meta can match the form to our ads without seeing them as plain text. If you opt out, or your browser sends Global Privacy Control, nothing is sent to our tracking server, Google or Meta from this site.
How to opt out
- Click "Opt out" in the notice at the bottom of the page, or use the "Your privacy choices" link at the bottom of any page. We save your choice in this browser (in site storage and a small cookie of our own), and from the next page you open, the tools above no longer load on our site. On the page you are on, they may already have run: we ask Google's tags on that page to stop, but other tools, such as Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel, may keep running on that page until you open another one. Cookies these tools set earlier stay in your browser until you clear them. Your choice is kept in this browser only: on another browser or device, or after you clear this site's data, you need to opt out again. If your browser blocks both site storage and cookies, we cannot remember your choice.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser or a browser extension sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out for that browser and the tools above do not load. You do not need to do anything else.
- Block cookies or tracking in your browser settings. A private window does not stop tracking while it is open; it only clears cookies when you close it.
- Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Meta ads: change your ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account (Accounts Center, "Ad preferences").
Server logs
Like most websites, our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to fix problems. These logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.
Cookies
The site itself needs no cookies to work. It stores your privacy choice and campaign tags in your browser's storage, plus one small cookie of our own (dh_privacy) that remembers your privacy choice. Analytics and advertising cookies are set by the tools above unless you opt out.
How long we keep information
We keep form submissions only as long as needed to handle your request and any work together, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information you sent us. Write to growth@digitalhark.agency or use the contact form.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top.
